This is an all around great place to camp. Fishing is close and stocked, with plenty of places for everyone to fish. You are about 10 minutes from a lodge with a great restaurant if you don’t feel like cooking. The campground host also sells fire wood.

Kirk Creek Campground offers incredible views of the ocean, but not much privacy. 

The park features breathtaking views of the Big Sur Coast, the beauty of the redwoods, the rugged coast and the cultural history of limekilns. The park has 33 campsites with a beautiful stream that runs through the middle of the park. Its the beach meets the redwoods.

Big Sur River Inn is a charming Big Sur hotel great for the whole family.

Fernwood Resort Big Sur is a charming motel which offers both rooms and tent camping.  There are lots of facilities on site, like a general store, cafe, restaurant, tavern and dvd rentals.
